The UNESCO will host a distinguished Cultural Evening in Paris on 04 May 2026 to mark the International Day of Vesak, a globally recognized Buddhist observance celebrating peace, compassion, and unity.
Organized by the Permanent Delegation of Sri Lanka to UNESCO, the event will take place at UNESCO Headquarters (Room II) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., followed by a reception at the Pas-Perdus Space featuring culinary contributions from Member States. The evening will be held under the theme: “Let Us Make Haste to Stand Together for the Common Good.”
