Israeli Soldiers Admit Targeting Unarmed Aid Seekers in Gaza

Israeli soldiers have confessed to deliberately shooting unarmed Palestinians seeking aid in Gaza, following orders from their commanders. Reports indicate that troops were instructed to open fire on civilians at aid distribution points, which were described as “killing fields.”

One soldier revealed that between one and five people were killed daily, stating, “Our form of communication is gunfire,” and emphasizing the absence of any threat from the civilians. The soldiers shot at those waiting in line before and after the brief operating hours of the aid stations.

Following a three-month blockade, limited aid distribution resumed in late May, leading to a severe hunger crisis among Gaza’s two million residents. However, the Israeli military’s tactics have drawn international condemnation, with over 550 Palestinians reportedly killed and thousands more wounded.

Human rights groups have accused the Israeli military of using starvation as a weapon of war and have called for the suspension of the Gaza Humanitarian Fund, alleging it may be complicit in international crimes due to its lack of transparency and accountability.
