All Blacks Shine at Black Thunder Cricket Tournament in Paris

The Black Thunder Sports Club hosted a highly competitive soft-ball cricket tournament in La Courneuve, Paris, on Sunday, with several teams battling for honours in an exciting day of cricket.
Among the standout performers were All Blacks Sports Club, one of the long-established and leading cricket clubs within the Paris sporting community.
In the first semi-final, All Blacks White faced Royal, producing a strong performance to secure victory and book their place in the final.
The second semi-final saw All Blacks Blue take on United B. The All Blacks side prevailed to complete an all-All Blacks final.
The final therefore brought together All Blacks White and All Blacks Blue, creating a unique club-versus-club contest. With both finalists representing the same club, the All Blacks management decided to award the tournament victory to All Blacks Blue, allowing players from both teams to celebrate the achievement together in a spirit of unity and sportsmanship.
Individual awards
Several players were recognised for their performances throughout the tournament.
All Blacks star player Sajith received the award for Best Player, while his All Blacks teammate Silmy was named Best Bowler.
The Player of the Tournament award went to United’s Asfaq, recognising his outstanding contribution during the competition.
Memorial awards were also presented to all participating teams in appreciation of their participation and sporting spirit.
The tournament concluded successfully amid a strong atmosphere of friendship, unity and community spirit. Organisers and participants thanked Black Thunder Sports Club for hosting and conducting the tournament, while All Blacks Sports Club expressed its appreciation to all the teams, players and supporters who contributed to the event.
The all-All Blacks final provided a fitting ending to a tournament that celebrated not only competitive cricket, but also team unity, friendship and sportsmanship within the Paris cricket community.
